 The World Without Us
The World Without Us
Without us on Earth, what traces would linger? What would disappear?

Very interesting. Hopefully not a dupe (it was a pretty hard search). picked by muppet 2 years ago

I love this type of information! I often walk around my city (town) of Eugene, Or. and try to image it with plants taken over... it's soothing for me. I wish microbes that can digest plastic would hurry up and evolve!!

Something similar to this was posted a while back, maybe an excerpt from the book, it was excellent, would love to have that link again.

This timeline is also great.

My sister-in-law just got the book on tape and I'm hoping to borrow it soon.

Believe it or not, we are actually part of nature.

With or without us, life and nature will change and evolve, so that the prediction for 3 billion years into the future (and after) will be much the same. "We" would have become something else anyway, or would have evolved into something else, or we would have buggered off to other planets somewhere...
