I must also echo the echo.

And I add my own personal opinion on the matter. I think time travel is a very interesting subject matter for science-fiction movies and books. I hope that time travel never becomes a reality. The amount of damage that someone could do to, well, everything is insane when you factor in that they have all the time in the world to do it. All it will take is for the technology to fall into the wrong hands (and considering that it would likely be produced by a government funded group, it would be in the wrong hands rather quickly although technically I think that anyone's hands are the wrong hands when it comes to being able to alter anything and everything). Anyone wielding the kind of power that is granted by time travel is very likely to be seduced by the power and become a danger to everyone.
