 The Stanford prison experiment
The Stanford prison experiment
What happens when you put good people in an evil place? Does humanity win over evil, or does evil triumph?

Anyone that knows psychology will have heard of this but it's a really interesting site with slideshow and videos. picked by doggylives 9 months ago

You should the German film, "The Experiment." It takes the story even further by asking, what if no one stopped the experiment?

This has been posted here, and here, and here before, but it's still interesting.

You would get something like an Abu Ghraib.

Awesome site, pure human behavior can be pretty scary. They do lesser experiments on the same vein as this with blue eyes v. brown eyes in classes. Can be crazy.

I've always liked Milgram's shock experiments regarding obedience. Crazy what people are willing to do when told to do so.
