Yeah - I picked a grey kitten out of a barn years ago. My next kitty, someday, will also probably be from a cousin's barn. I couldn't imagine paying $22 for a kitty, let alone $22 000.

Seriously, there are stray cats everywhere, and about a million free cat ads on craigslist, why would you breed more?
Besides, black kitties are the cutest.
