Controversial.

I think the morning-after pill is a good idea, but if I ruled the world, I'd make that pill the taste and size of a bar of soap - to be swallowed in one piece, of course.

Hey, prohibition works for everything. And, it makes the black market economy stronger which is good.

This is really tragic. The women who may need emergency contraceptives the most now won't have access to it.

I'm glad, though, that it wasn't banned altogether.

i haven't swallowed an entire bar of soap (had my mouth washed out with one once when i was a kid), but i assure you that the side effects of the morning after pill are much worse than the taste of any soap on the market.

i think you're onto something, though. what if they made the pills into these types of soap bars?

Yeah, and should we write "youre killing your possible offspring" as on condoms as well? (Not saying that morning-after pills should be used as contraceptives in the long run, just that people shouldnt be made to feel like crap for taking them - the pills do it for you physically already in any case.)

"Every sperm is saaaacred..."

Right. On a more serious note, I think the morning after pill is a very, very important contraceptive that needs to stay exactly the way it is. Unless of course you think women should be punished for *gasp* enjoying sex without having to face the consequences, which is incredibly medieval.

You see, the circumstances in which the pill is used is why it is such an important contraception. This is for the cases where the barrier method during during intercourse fails and most importantly, it is used for victims of rape.

I will never understand why the morning after pill has such a bad rep.
