Today is the happiest day of the year
Today is the happiest day of the year
Apparently the feeling of optimism caused by the combination of lighter evenings, the prospect of holidays and memories of childhood summers is at its peak on June 20. picked by Bornbad 4 months ago

True, today was pretty darn good.
....considering the sh*ttyness of the first half of this year.

However, if this is the highlight of my year?
Please kill me now.

an icy lake sounds nice, but alas, I believe it's a bit too,far away. and sunsplash kills. It's ok tho I've got some ice cold beer, and the thermostat turned low. Those, and the ballgame on tv and I'm set for the evening.

Oh, and Plime, of course.

Ridiculous concept.

In related news, depression rates soared in the southern hemisphere where people hunkered down for the saddest day of the year.

I think a day is what you make it based on what is thrown at you. I also think that there is some validity to this. I love the extended daylight hours. I thrive on light.

I remember reading an article explaining this equation last year. I brought it to my persuasive theories class to explain how it was a persuasive article.
1. it uses an equation(making it appear more legit)

and...well. It's one of those things you take with a grain of salt.
