Right, and nothing about the rest of Canada, the people who use and demand the oil that is extracted from here.
Where's the satirical site advertising a vacation in smog-cloaked Onterrible? Are we expected to believe that no mining also takes place in NL, PQ, ON, MB, SK and BC??? Where are the images of the absolute destruction of the forests by the massive James Bay Hydro dams??
And the images of logging? Those could be from any province in Canada.
I think that strip mining the tarsands is far less ecologically destructive than the suburban sprawl that is consuming the much-loathed (at least that's how we see it) East.
This is a hot issue. I'm mad now.
Edit You know how I know this is a total farce written by someone who's never visited my wonderful, beautiful, bountiful home?? On the "weather" link the humidity is listed as above 70 and 90%. Anyone from the prairies could tell you that this never happens.
Stupid idiots who aren't from here. I'm sure they created their website using computers that are made with plastic and metals - all of which have to be mined or extracted.
I'll leave this article with one thought for everyone: Sudbury

I think you are doing a bit of Chauvinism here. I know Alberta is a beautiful province. You should be proud of your provice but this "contestable" website is not intended against you or citizens from Alberta.
I reconize all the logging in Quebec, and I will not not be offended byt any militant website like that.
Greenpeace is often contested, and they go to far sometimes, but it's still a serious organisation. This Website was done by Greenpeace in Edmonton. I'm pretty sure they know a bit about this...
Everybody have something in his backyard, should we hide it?
I understand that you should be tired to heard about this.
