Umm... too late, I thought they meant the US Congress risked brain damage...
Scientists on Thursday warned US legislators of the risks of brain cancer from cell phone use, highlighting the potential risk for children who use mobile phones.
"We urgently need more research," said David Carpenter, director of the Institute of Health and Environment at the University of Albany, in testimony before the House Subcommittee on Domestic Policy.

Yes, it's true. When you strap a cell-phone to a rat for three quarters of it's life it develops cancer.
Thus, we should definitely be wary of strapping human sized cell phones against our bodies for 75 years otherwise it... or one of a million other things which cause cancer which we still can't truly figure out.. might cause cancer.
Furthermore, the testimony given to congress was...
"I cannot tell this committee that cell phones are definitely dangerous. But, I certainly cannot tell you that they are safe," he said.
In other words, he can't tell us anything.

We are all going to die.. I doubt if cell phones will be the cause.
That is unless you're texting while driving or some other stupid activity.
But really.. who knows what the effect of prolonged microwave radio signals are on human tissue?
