A UK baby has become one of the youngest in the world to undergo an operation using glue to reduce the size of a brain tumor.

so why exactly was a glue gun used? They were in a hospital, shouldn't they have had access to normal medical equipment?

I've read of similar tumor treatment before. Instead of bombarding them with radiation and chemicals, they merely deprive them of the blood that carries the nutrients to keep the tumor alive.
