NICE guys knew it, now two studies have confirmed it: bad boys get the most girls. The finding may help explain why a nasty suite of antisocial personality traits known as the "dark triad" persists in the human population, despite their potentially grave cultural costs.

If anything, girls reading this should realize that it is the nice guys that will stay with them, and the "bad" guys who will be much more likely to use them for sex and move on when they get bored.

I think it just makes more sense to say that those that try more to have sex with more people are likely to have more sex with more people. People work out this elaborate explanation in their heads about the sacredness of sex and they remember all they had to go through to get with their current or past mate. But the reality is that if you go up to 100 random women and start "playing" them, a pretty big percentage of them are going get busy with the guy. For 100 random men it's going to be extremely high. The same emotional process may be involved, but it's more fancy than anything else. That's why people wake up married to someone they have nothing in common with. An anti-social person simply lacks the conscience or control to feel bad when they hurt other people, so they can approach more people without feeling bad.
Moral of the story? People are whores when you get down to it. If more people were pressed about getting into affairs, they likely would. We've worked it up in our minds that it wouldn't, but I think the infidelity rate is already pretty high and that's without people being so direct and pushy about sex.
How do I know this? Because it's the only explanation in the world that adequately explains why I've had sex.
