My favorite thing in the whole world is when the officials in a hockey game decide who is going to win.

A bulls**t call on a high stick goal then a double bulls**t call on a kneeing penalty against Richards=a bulls**t win by Montreal.

I love how there is no accountability for those a*****es wearing the black and white.

Yeah, Merry F@#%ing Christmas. Richards lays a great hit on Kovalev and it's a penalty that results in the Canadiens winning. Not to mention the borderline call on Kovalev's other goal. How can you hit a puck with your stick, then hit the TOP of the crossbar with your stick, and have it not be a high stick?

The Flyers play like that for four more games, and the Canadiens are playing golf, the zebras notwithstanding.

They shouldn't have celebrated the goal, they should have skated to their locker room with their heads down and accepted the gift they were given

I didn't watch tonight's game. I was stuck at the office getting some environment proposals finished up.

It wasnt always like that. during the lockout the nhl officials union also bargained a new contract. see they use to be fined/suspended as well for turning a blind eye, onesided games, double minors and majors for minor infractions. this protected the players from ref favoritism, protected the league from shady officials and betting schemes. at the end of the lockout the refs union threatened to stay in the lockout so whatever they wanted. the first thing was they wanted no accountability for the calls they make. and they got it. it goes all the way down to the minors too.

And that is enough to make me stop watching hockey.

I am really angry about this. I know it happens in almost every game and I can take one call that is completely wrong. I also know that a lot of times when a ref does make a bad call, they usually even it up by making another bad call on the other team, but THIS!?! During the PLAYOFFS?!? Unbelievable.

The high stick goal. I would really like someone to have to answer to THAT call. I would like to know what kind of physics they are using.

Just for the record, I am not a sore loser. I can take it when my team plays s**tty or is just simply outplayed. This was NOT the case last night and if this is the crap that is going to continue, I seriously may just stop watching. What is the point?
