Parry McCluer High School - at least for now - has declared that they will not bend to the Almighty PC God and remove the guns from its mascot. It currently uses a mascot that is a take off Yosemite Sam and despite others demands that the guns are offensive, 50 years of tradition trumps those whiny cries.

When they take away the guns, they are replacing them with fists. Now, putting on the horrendous PC hat, what kind of idea will that give to the students. Let's beat each other up with our knuckles. Why not just have a man standing there with no emotion or any type of stance. HOW BORING!

I'd be more upset that whomever the school hired to draw that mascot, just traced Yosemite Sam, and handed it back!
