Right, because thin skin equals racial harmony.

Honestly, racial harmony would be so much more attainable if people wouldn't get so pissy about every slur and slip of the tongue that occurs.

Dude, what? Did you seriously type that? I recommend you remove your racial slur by editing the comment. I dont' know if you were trying to prove a point by making a 'joking comment' like that, or if you're just being ignorant; but this type of statement only justifies what Jim Brown is b***hing about. (and I don't know if I'm contradicting my previous statement or not; but that was blatant rather than a 'slip of the tongue')

I think nobody has a right to tell somebody what offends them or what they should feel. That's just irritating.

Jim has tried to jump on the bandwagon but missed it by a week or two. He is now trying to chase the bandwagon and unfortunately he isn't in the shape he was in his heyday.

The hooker that said' heez gonna get lynched...
yeeah ..that was stupid.

Dave Seanor put a noose on the cover of a golf magazine ..that was stupid.

I hope Buick recognizes the leverage that they have with these sponsors now.

Jim Brown doesn't have anything to do with it. The press approached him. Ifnot, hell he just had something to say.
I haven't looked but I bet youtube has longer blogvids about the subject that are more unfounded in their efforts.

The world doesn't have enough energy for racism

Everyone has the right to be offended and to tell others when something offends them. But the problem here is...

A comment was made to Woods. He wasn't offended.

Other people jumped in and got offended for Woods. Now it's turned into a huge controversy. And since ti's a 'racially charged' controversy it's gained more press and has sparked more discussion.

Sometimes the best way to fight racism, is to ignore it. Otherwise you just make it bigger and uglier.

Is this the same Jim Brown that regretted he quit football thinking his records would stand for years?

The same Jim Brown that:
Assault accused of raping an 18-year-old, found innocent, 1965
Battery accused of raping an 18-year-old, found innocent, 1965
Resisting Arrest, 1968
Assault allegedly threw his fiancee off a balcony, charges dropped (1968)
Assault allegedly beat up a man after a traffic accident, acquitted (1969)
Battery allegedly choked a golf partner, 1978
Sexual Battery charges dropped, 1985
Assault charges dropped, 1985
Rape charges dropped, 1985
Domestic Violence charges dropped, 1986
Death Threats allegedly threatened to snap Monique's neck, acquitted (June 15, 1999)
Vandalism smashed up the windows of his wife's 1994 Honda Accord with a shovel (June 15, 1999)

Mr Brown really should keep quiet.

Actually, what I meant was, that nobody has a right to tell somebody else what that person should feel. That's what I meant.

You will never have a good time on Plime unless you tone it down. Logical comments are appreciated. Keep the insults out of the conversation.
