A motorist's sneeze caused a crash which almost claimed his life. Paul Harrison's Peugeot 206 clipped the kerb and rolled over before bursting into flames. The 30-year-old driver was trapped and could have died if it had not been for passer-by Matthew Norris, who dragged him, unharmed, from the burning wreckage.

A chartered bus taking skiers home to Arizona ran off a curvy road and rolled down an embankment in a crash that split open the vehicle's roof and threw some passengers 100 yards. Eight were killed and 20 others injured.
