They call it rugby on rabies and for good reason - thousands of players on the same field, which happens to be an entire town-wide-field, over a 2 day stretch, with 1 freakin ball. Holy crap.

Sounds like the way lacrosse was originally played by the Native Americans. It was sometimes used in lieu of war. Though murder was fair. A player could actually hold the ball in their mouth, and if they chose to do this, a rival could choke them until they spit it out.

My favorite is when they are playing in the bog. Could you imagine playing rugby in 3 feet of water? I can't imagine how people keep from getting drowned.

Meh, we've been doing this for years...it's called BLACK FRIDAY. Except it is not a ball, it is usually the "hot toy" of the season.
