by using humans to decode CAPTCHAs for e-mail sign-up sites/comment posting sites/password recovery/attempt sites hidden as a game, spammers can break through CAPTCHAs. I've heard about this scheme in a conference this summer with a developer for ReCAPTCHA (google it).

Basically it's like this:
1. App installs
2. App retrieves a captcha a that needs to be solved
3. App sends this to you and displays it as a passcode
4. You drool and your man organ becomes engorged with blood at the sight of this beautiful woman and her offer to undress
5. You enter in the "Passcode"--what's a few letters between you and free pr0n?
6. You wait.
7. Damn. Stiffed off again.
8. Maybe you try some more and solve some more Captchas while the app sends the answers back to home and uses them to sign up for free e-mail accounts, or to spam plime, or to spam youtube, w/e.
9. The world suffers and more people receive/read/buy "Reel V1.a.gr.a. Pre-Scpits lerwe" or "10 inchEsss NoW! Naturalt! weryt" e-mails
