I love the idea of a transparent toaster. Too bad it's only a concept right now. The present technology of heating glass is limited to warming only; no where near hot enough to toast.

Surely the laser will move as you do therefore you could be cutting wonky and the laser would still be in front telling you you are cutting "straight".
A laser that helps you cut in a straight line needs to be attached to a fixed point surely?

My grandma has that HUGE remote. It's too hilarious- I laughed when she showed it to me. At least she has the good sense to know it's ridiculous, though, it's just that the buttons are much easier for her to press with her arthritis.

These are more for babies who like to have that constant touch feeling. It would have been nice to be able to put my baby down and go potty without having to listen to her cry the entire time.

The only one of those I'd actually want is the toaster; I know I could entertain myself for countless mornings watching my bread toast.
When I saw the penguin, all I could think of is the jokes about famous Newfoundlander inventions such as the 'waterproof teabag' and the 'submarine screen door'.
