It cannot cope with family members who insist on hiding or moving objects. And it struggles to cope with objects placed in unusual positions.
Ok, now I'm officially curious. Exactly what kind of unusual positions did they test with which objects?

Seriously, miniaturisation. Cameras can already be made small enough to fit in the frame of a pair of glasses, microphones shouldn't be a problem either.

All that's left is a way to show these images on the lens of your glasses and a suitable power source and this thing is ready for the market.

And if I'm not mistaken, there's already some kind of technology around for the viewing part.

Edit: Found it

Magellan @ 3/14/2008 12:22:23 AM

Japanese scientists have invented a pair of intelligent glasses that remembers where people last saw their keys, handbag, iPod or mobile phone.
They also keep you from getting laid ever.

tdiggity @ 3/13/2008 10:30:21 PM

Or you could just leave your keys and such in the same place at home and at work like I do...

Ross @ 3/13/2008 10:07:20 PM

I think they look far too silly for me to wear.

dollyllama @ 3/13/2008 9:59:29 PM

My boss seriously needs these, except she'd lose them.
