A History Of The Internet Posted: 2 months ago by pocksucket
The internet is many things to many people. For some it is a vital business tool. For others it is an indispensable means of communication. Others yet look on it as a vast repository of all human knowledge.
Most people think of it as the thing with the funny cat pictures though.
If you need to know that I Can Has Cheezburger first appeared on 13th June 2006, that the O RLY owl has been around for over 5 years now or that Godwin's Law was first postulated over 18 years ago then this is what you need - A time line of internet memes and traditions

Confused?

Chronicles of George Posted: 2 months ago by Maven
This web site is a collection of helpdesk tickets gleaned from the support database of my previous job. I was employed there for twenty months, and during that time I had the misfortune of encountering an individual whom I will call George.
George is, quite simply, the worst helpdesk technician ever.
His grasp on the written word is shakier than a canoe full of epileptics. His knowledge of computers is thinner than a Vegas dancer's chiffon underpants. He is, by all standards of intelligence, a rock.
