In Long Beach, there's the Aquarium of the Pacific. Never been though...

If you want a shopping experience, drive up to Santa Monica and the 3rd Street Promenade.

If you want a more 'uppity' shopping experience there's South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa.

If you want a nice area to enjoy the beach with shopping go down south to Balboa (Balboa Island), Newport Beach and also Laguna Beach. Laguna is a bit further down, but it has a nice retail area and boardwalk.

Yep...That's pretty much all that's here now. :) It's a little bigger town, but not by much.

No. It was purchased and moved some years ago. I think they transported it up north to Washington state...

Easy there, Shemp. I was only kiddin'.

But seriously, thanks so much for all of your suggestions. I have them all written down and will keep them all in mind once we are in California. I'd love to check oot Mazda Speedway Laguna Seca. It is my favorite racing course of all time, next to the Molson Indy course in Toronto (of course).

Right now the deffinite destinations for us are:

Disney Land
San Diego Zoo (German for a whale's vagina)
The Getty Museum
Cruise the PCH

And I think the wife wants to check oot Beverly Hills and do the whole 'Pretty Woman' thing (I believe she is oot of her friggin' mind there). She does want to go down Rodeo Dr., though.

Now that I am back from Cali and I am getting over my sickness, I will soon start a thread containing the details of said trip. I have alot to tell, so I will be compiling it all in Word and transfering it to the forum in the next couple of days.
