The point is people point to the fact that no WMD were found and claim that makes Bush a liar or we went to war under false pretenses.

That is wrong.

Bush may have believed there were WMD, we have no way of knowing if he did or didn't.

If you have reason to believe, if I gave you ever indication that I had a gun and was willing to kill you or your child, you would be justified in firing at me to save the life of you or another.

But if I am reading the article correctly, Huseim never mentioned an intent to use these "WMD" against the United States.

He just mentioned that he had them...

Now, I would think that any sane person would ask: "Why does he have them? To what purpose does he intent on use them?"

Based on those answers, the subsequent events would have been different.

Bush had it in for Huseim, because Daddy had it in for Huseim. And Junior wanted to finish what daddy started in order to make daddy proud.

I seriously think that in a confidential UN meeting, Huseim could have disclosed the reason for his claims, then he would have had more allies than enemies.
