Actually, the FAQ says you can submit what you like... and it's not a blog it's a webcomic, and one that has been going for two years and has a reasonable readership too.

What's harsh about what I've said? (I didn't downvote by the way) The reason why Plime doesn't really like self-promoting links from what I can gather, is that you get too many people posting here just to promote their sites and that brings down the general quality of the posts here.
I just pointed out how Plime works in the hope you could contribute and enjoy your time here.
Hope this one downvote doesn't put you off, Plimes a good place to be :)
*edit* I upvoted your post and your edit to bring your rating back up.
Plime is an editable wiki community where users can add and edit weird and interesting links. Users earn karma when other users vote on their actions. The more karma you have, the more power you have at Plime.
«AdamY : Sorry – it's harsh that it got shot down so quick, not what you said.
It won't put me off, I found loads of interesting stuff here already...
...and thanks :)
Stuff gets downvoted very quickly if it doesn't comply with the guidelines - since you're still at a low userlevel, we upvoted your creation edit for that link in order to compensate for the karma loss.
The general policy of not posting your own content in the news section is based on the assumption that everyone would consider their own stuff post-worthy (they wouldn't put it online otherwise, right?). We prefer content that has been chosen by people who do not share personal interest in promoting it. Anyways, as Doggylives pointed out, there are several places in the forums to post your own content (check the "plimates" and "arts" categories, too).
Liked your webcomic, btw. ...happy pliming!
Oh, upvoting your own comments won't add to your Karma. :D
