«Jerry520 : It doesn't prove the other person is right, it just proves that they can beat that person up. That's what my point is. Simply because you can beat someone else into submission doesn't make your point more valid, it means you can beat people effectively.
It doesn't make you right, all of a sudden.
Jerry, your argument is foolish. Your question was:
«Jerry520 : Why do some a*****es think that they can beat their opinion into other people?
I have answered this question, yet you continue to argue. What relevence does the validity of the a*****es stance have to do with why they beat their opinion into people. The reason they beat their opinions into people is because it is sometimes successful.
«gratheo:Oh great and all-knowing DEP, what was the influence of the Metis people on Canadian history, in particular the creation of the province of Manitoba, limiting your answer to no less than 750 words?
Plime is a pliable tree of interesting links, cultivated and pruned by everyone. Be sure to read the FAQs, they can be found below among the links to the other categories.
I take it that by "more" you mean to say "any". Unfortunately, I'm not sure there is much hope for you (especially with you referring to it as 'poon'). My only recomendation is some chloroform and a rag.
Why haven't you been in the Platroom? We miss you.
I am biding my time to make a more spectacular return.
Also, how can I get more peenorz?

Oh, wise DEP hear my question and bestow upon me your wisdom, or your best bulls**t, if it be your will.
Why did my coworker get her boyfriend's initials tattooed on the inside of her lower lip even though he breaks up with her every other month and they've only been dating for less than 6 months?
And why can I not believe anyone if they pay me a compliment? When someone tells me I'm attractive (or some variant thereof) I outwardly scoff and inwardly think they're just being nice to make me feel better about being unattractive. WTF, great DEP?
*makes a burnt offering (or a medium-well offering if that's more your taste) and scatters rice on the altar*

How is my argument foolish? I'm pretty much saying it's pointless, because it's not successful. It does nothing but cause the other party physical harm, it does nothing to sway their opinion. They may learn to hide their opinion around that person, but it doesn't mean they believe it.

Because despite all his faults, she lurves him. Sadly love can blind many people and the results can be tragic.

I'm guessing that this is because most of the compliments are not true. I'd be skeptical too.

Because your question was not about whether the a*****e was correct or not, your question was about why they felt the need to force their opinions onto people. Your argument is foolish, because it's off topic. Similar to if I walked into the "fish advice" thread and started asking questions about mountain lions.

You missed the obvious: Surgery and hormone therapy.
