i was having a look around on etsy and they have alot of cool things on there, but while searching, i came across this:

and all i could think was....why the hell is that soo much money! have i missed something that makes it cost that much? i have seen other things at one time or another that are pointlessly expensive, and wonder if any of you guys have found anything that isnt worth what people asked for?

Well look at the thing, one would say you'd have to be a 'sucker' to buy it...

I guess they think the high price will make people think it is worth buying?

No harm no foul.

i dont know if there would be many people to fall in that catagory. i often see things in shops that are expensive that i love but wonder if prce a lil too high for what it is. but something like that, only wat could be worth that much would be if made my some famous artist and it 'represented' something

It's either a "f*ck-off" price - It's a joke and the vendor doesn't really want to sell any so he marks it with a price that makes people say "F*ck off!" or the vendor is thinking "Surely someone, somewhere is drunk enough to buy this without checking the price."

It costs so much because that image is photoshopped.

If someone actually wanted one, it would probably cost $500 to get a prototype made.

The Image doesn't look photoshopped, and plus you could make that in about 5 minutes with a hole saw, some superglue and a teat.

Ok with that said, I'm off to create some weird things with teats now...

The reason I think it's photoshopped is because I have never seen a remote with only the top 1/2 having buttons and sooooo much unused space on the bottom.

I have one such remote in my apartment with alot of unused space below 6 buttons, the strange thing is I've never been aware of it being useful for remotely controlling anything. I wonder where it sprung from.
