Hmmmm ... I think they will need a potty-training school for the pets, too, so as not to have them getting confused with the "lap pool for humans" (whatever that is supposed to be)...

Yes, they definitely need potty training! Because even male humans have trouble aiming hehe.
Lap pools might be just a swimming pool where people swim laps. Who knows.
