Why do people drive cars into swimming pools? Here are some of the answers and they're not pretty.

It looks like all those answers involve speed, alcohol or stupidity, and probably combinations of the above.
I can just imagine the problems for the owner of the pool. (I'm not too concerned with the owner fo the offending vehicle...) Not only will the pool water have to be drained to remove all the oily gunk that would have come off the engine, but the impact may even have damaged the structure of the pool.

Good thoughts about the pool owners, rambler. I can't imagine what the pool would be like after a car has been submerged in it. I hope the pool owners were able to collect from the driving imbeciles.
