misswinkle--with a regular link to a page, you can just copy and paste it in, and the system will display it as clickable. Tags are only needed when putting an image in.

What you can do is have an opening tag, including the url - url=http://www.plime.com/redir.p?http://www.plime.com/crime/l/29968/1/ - but within square brackets. You then put the words you want to represent the link and then a close tag - /url - again in square brackets.
