Amish couple sue over Homeland Security photo rule
The photos are required so the husband--a Canadian citizen--can become a permanent U.S. resident, but the couple believes it would violate the Biblical injunction against making graven images. picked by hypnotode 2 years ago

Again, I just can't agree with this type of BS.

Freedom of religion does not mean freedom of religious PRACTICE.

I couldn't care less what someone belives in. I do think, that all should obey the law. We can not and will not allow for certain parties be they Amish, Muslim, or someone who worships Bast be above the law.

I hardly have to enumerate the various religious beliefs that would be against the law.

If you allow this, where do you stop?

Why this is even allowed to go to court I have no idea. Such insane lawsuits simply cost the plantif a bunch of money to fight it.

EDIT: something else I just thought of... if Graven Images is Evil and a Ticket To Hell, how do they purchase things? Doesn't money have Graven Images on them?
