'Please don't run me over,' penned teen cyclist before his death
'Please don't run me over,' penned teen cyclist before his death
A Beaverton student eerily predicted the deadly dangers cyclists potentially face as he penned a column for his school paper entitled “Please don’t run me over” just a year before being hit and killed by a Tri-Met bus. picked by muppet 3 months ago

I don't know how writing a column about the dangers of biking a year before his death is "an eerie prediction" but whatever. Sad story.

I was going to say the same thing. If you ride a bike in any city you will know it is dangerous and very fun.

I live in Beaverton and drive through that intersection often. The road has a bike lane, but apparently the bus driver did not feel compelled to respect it.

Last year, Portland (the mother city to whom Beaverton is but an oversized child) pressed no charges when a cement truck mowed down a female cyclist who was obeying the law.

This sickens me.
