something tells me while the owner says they are sweethearts, they weren't raising them to be cuddly wuddly.

I know someone who has a dog named Judge, and yes, he IS a sweet dog. Sorry, but that's just an unfair assumption to make.

I wish there was more to the story. For instance, why were her dogs out when she wasn't there? And as for names..."what's in a name..."

you know, you're right, and to assume they are not being raised to be attack dogs because of someone elses dog named judge would also be an unfair assumption in the other direction, non?

I had a rottie who hated tires and we didn't train her to be that way. She hated the wheelbarrow tires the most.

Must be a weird rottie thing.

I had a german shepherd when I was a kid that did this to a few cars, just one tire per car though.

where was his pepper spray? I thought all mail carriers had some for dog attacks like this one.

My rotties LOVE, love, love their tires. (they're small tires you can buy at petsmart..) One tries to take it on walks. Why? Well.. He seems to think he might need it.

So WHY didn't the mail carrier drive away? I imagine it took some time to get through three tires. If it's the difference between sitting in the car waiting for Cujo to break in through the window, or driving away on the rims, I'm all for the latter. They drive on the rims on "Most Amazing Police Videos" all the time, don't they? Weird story...

A lady I work for has the most annoying Golden. Stupid thing chases my car down the driveway every time I leave, biting the tires. I really am going to run over her head one day. Plus, a pit bull down my road likes to run in front of every car that comes down here. Problem is, it throws rocks when it runs in front of you (already chipped my windshield once) so you have to race it down the road every day. My landlord actually ran over its head with an F350, and it was fine. Still chasing cars too... They make shock collars for a reason!!

They *claim* the pit jumps out of anything they put it in. I hate that stupid thing. Love dogs, but really would not cry if that one disappeared. Now they even have a new puppy to learn all sorts of fun tricks from it's buddy. The pit even comes out and chase the horses when we try to ride (our ring is across the street from their house), it can be very disconcerting with children on the horses and the stupid dog barking at them. I hate stupid people, they shouldn't be allowed to have pets!!

What a scary situation. I remember hearing my kids screaming out in the driveway one day. A neighborhood dog, normally chained, had gotten loose and had pinned them down in the back of our camper pickup. They were 7 and 5, and the dog came for me when I went to help them. I picked up a big stick and smacked it in the head. It kept coming back, but I was able to get the girls inside the house. What did animal control have to say? "We don't have time to come check it out right now, since it didn't bite you." Another case of dealing with things when they hit crisis proportions versus dealing with them before someone is actually hurt.
