A deer with a single horn in the center of its head — much like the fabled, mythical unicorn — has been spotted in a nature preserve in Italy, park officials said Wednesday.

So unicorns probably did exist. and is roe deer a male...b/c then i mean maybe he just has one antler. However, at least when he grows up he can be a badass b/c he will just be able to spear his opponents and mate with all the does.
But this does kind of make you wonder what else may have 'existed' back in the day. with tales of dragons, and massive sized squids, and killer aardvarks. okay i added that last one...
