J/K :-D I'm not so old that I've lost my memory...yet. ;)
When I was a pre-adolescent comic reader, DC was king and Marvel was second rate. In the late 60's, early 70's, illustrators like Dave really brought Marvel characters to the forefront.

Tom's right. I was thinking the same thing reading the article, I think the writers mentioned it on purpose. It's more than just a little ironic that he has so much DC stuff, BUT as a comic artists I'm sure he had a lot of love and respect for the pioneers (DC).
