I say its ok when there is something in someones teeth, they can look at it one of two ways:
A.) Continued to walk around talking to people without knowing something is in their teeth. And being embarassed when at the end of the day that you had something in your teeth all day.
or
B.) Told that somethings in your teeth, a moment of embarassment - Take it out, and feel glad that you don't have something in your teeth without noticing, could have been there all day.

«dAvBOb : We keep air freshener in the office to spray when the customers leave.
Yep - we used to do that. But in some, more extreme cases, it would have been nice to be able to say "Y'know, we could all avoid a lot of unpleasantness if you'd just wipe when you're done. Or use a bidet. Or something. You smell of poop."
For long term protection we did used to have one of those fragranced oil burner things. That was pretty effective.
«Jerry520 : Well, if someone had an ear tumor, I'd point it out. That's kind of important, I'd think.
I think if it got to the point where it was visible, they'd know already, so I'm not sure if I'd draw attention to it.
Some people can be a bit touchy about these things, and they might be a bit sensitive. Unlike a spot of pit-stink, it's not something that can be fixed with a quick spray.
«germz : Butt, on the issue of women garments, i do not believe it is right for a man to tell her whats there or not.
That means - You were looking, and you're not suppose to get caught looking. Dont incriminate yourself lol.
I usually don't mind the looking (I am so far beyond "used to it", on some level I'll probably start to miss it once I'm old and saggy in all the right/wrong places). So if there's something weird stuck to my butt, by all means please do point it out.
But do not - under any circumstances - touch it. You're risking loss of limb unless you're a personal friend of mine.

Eh, something obvious like a white paper or string on black pants will catch anyone's eye, whether they meant to look or not.
And like it or not, if a woman has something less obvious but still embarassing stuck to her bum, there's a much lower chance another woman will look and see it. So long as nobody touches or comments any further than 'you've got something on your pants', I don't think it's a problem.
