Is it really that puzzling? It makes sense to me.

Surrounding yourself with products made from plastics which are not meant to last and synthetic EVERYTHING, not to mention consuming foods with chemicals and additives that have all been so refined and processed, drinking contaminated water and breathing polluted air:

Is it any surprise our bodies can't handle this recent influx of new substances and toxins? Maybe cancer is just our bodies' way of coping, or trying to find a way to deal with it all.

You are what you eat.

I'd like to take a look at the prevalence of other diseases. It could it be that once people move to the US, they are no longer affected by diseases which affect generally poorer countries. It's been said by those that work in international health that cancer is a disease of the wealthy and to get to that point where cancer is your main concern, a myriad of other diseases of poverty must be taken care of. Point being, it may be that more people are able to reach the age at which cancer is prevalent. That being said, if they came from the mountains, city air is more polluted.
