One breed, the savannah, is capable of jumping 7ft vertically in the air and can grow three times bigger than a domestic cat.

Depends on what generation it is. Their talking about an F1 Savannah. The F3-5 are very little bigger than a domestic, and has very few 'wild' traits other than coat.

That sounds right, but I think the trend where people feel the need to "own" a domestic animal mixed with a wild counterpart is every bit as fetishistic as "buying" a Scottish Fold.
Animal shelters, wherever we have them, are full of awesome cats who deserve a great life, though few get to do so.
I guess you could tell I'm not a fan of pet breeders.

My girlfriend has an unusually strong cat. It's bite power is huge. I wouldn't let that thing anywhere near a baby.
