Sydney is waking up to a red tinge over everything.... Like some creepy Marz (hehe) movie, a haze of red dust covers the city.
Meteorologists have never seen anything like it.

It doesn't say. Emergency services had also been stretched by the conditions, as health experts raised fears about the impact of the dust for people with breathing problems.
The Ambulance Service said it had experienced an increase in calls from asthma sufferers as a result of the dust haze this morning. Some were taken to hospital, a spokeswoman said.
I suppose it's like a dust storm in the desert? Not good to breathe in, but nothing long term?

Seems people with no health issue should be ok, but like BB said, foreign matter in the lungs can't be a good thing.
