I know everyone is probably sick of seeing starving African children, but why is it OK to ignore it? I cried while looking at the pictures in the article. We must not look away.

This picture, unrelated to the story, sums the situation across Africa.

did you know the photographer who took that image won a pulitzer prize for that photo? he ended up committing suicide because he couldn't handle all the horrific things he had seen. very, very sad.

It's sad how most of the people that are affected by this are innocent people just trying to survive and care for their babies. It sickens me seeing children like that, and sure as hell makes me appreciate what I have, since I like to complain about my financial situations so often, and think my kids don't have enough. So sad ): No me gusta.

How can you not want to scoop that poor child up in your arms and feed him? How can a leader of any country think that's ok? How can an ordinary person look away :(

I don't understand... If the situation is so bad that the roads are blocked; why don't they drop the food from a plane?
