The world's flags given letter grades
Some are good, some are bad. Some countries have clearly taken care in the choice of colours, layout, and design. See how your flag scores. picked by leopoldogolba 6 months ago

I thought an "F" was anything lower than a 65%.

In school, yes, but apparently not so when rating a country's flag.

I don't agree with a lot of their judgments. The US flag does suck though.

It's on there, it got a 70, somehow so did Libya, and it's just green.

Yeah, I don't agree with all of these. Whoever graded these said Trinidad and Tobago selected bad colors. Really? Red, black and white? The Chicago Bulls would like a word with you. Someone should grade sports teams logos.

Did the person rating these even think about the symbolism involved? I don't agree with a lot of these. I think the only one I really agree on is Japan's. And could he be any less consistent with the whole good/bad colors? Seriously, Lithuania has bad colors according to him... and yet Lithuania has the same three colors that are present in at least 3 other flags that he doesn't comment on the colors. And I have to stop looking at this site, I just noticed what he said about South Korea's flag; very disrespectful and makes the answer to my first question rather obvious.

"Saint Vincent and the Grenadines"

Good effort for a country whose name sounds like a 50s rock'n'roll group.

England and the United Kingdom are not synonymous. England Scotland and Wales all have unique flags distinct from the union flag (albeit that the union flag is derived from the English and Scottish flags and st. Patrick's cross (which at the time represented Ireland).

I was wondering where those were too. I was interested in seeing how badly he disrespected two other parts of my heritage (Scotland and Wales, Lithuania being another part that he already disrespected).

I don't get why the Belgian flag gets B+ 75/100, while it's just a rectangle with 3 colors (the same 3 colors as the German flag, only theirs are horizontal and in another order). All he could say about it is good shape! Aren't they all rectangular?
Personally, I like the Flemish region's flag better, although I'm sure he would label it Graven Images.
