Is the resemblance to the hobbit houses in lord of the rings intentional i wonder? Didn't see any mention of it on the site. Very cool though.

That's really cool. I want to get into green architecture. I have to wonder though, how long will this house last? Most wood in construction is treated somehow to make it last longer and termites from eating away at it. I'm all about the green architecture, it's just that there's a give take relationship. Sustainability is important. We can't be making new houses every couple decades.
