That is what? .152 per million? (not sure about the math)

Not sure if that is excessive or not. I wonder what the numbers are for other deaths. Also I imagine they are counting deaths from such things as fires caused by lightning.

Then again,
Wyoming had 1.21 lightning deaths per million over a 10 year span (97-06) that would make it .121 for a single year. Brazil's .152 is for just 2 months.

How do the lightning deaths vary over the year? Perhaps Jan/Feb are some of the worst times for lightning storms in Brazil.]]>214255
