Reminds me of a joke...


An airplane is dropping altitude and the pilot comes over the loudspeaker and says that they need to drop some weight in order to stay in the air. After emptying the cargo it was determined that three brave volunteers would need to sacrifice themselves for the greater good.

A long while passed in silence before a Brit stood up and proudly said "God save the Queen," before leaping to his death.

More time passed as the passengers looked around uneasily at one another. Finally a Frenchman stood up and said "Viva laFrance," before leaping from the plane and sacrificing himself.

Only one more person needed to sacrifice themselves for the sake of the other passengers, but no one wanted to do it. At long last a big Texan stood up, took in a deep breath and grabbed a little Mexican from the seat next to his. He threw the Mexican out of the plane and called "Remember the Alamo," after him.
