I'm going to make these and hang them all over. Bet I'll still have 8 cats on the recliner with me at nap time.

These are pretty cool, but I am thinking like Dolly, when it comes right down to it, the cats are going to be sleeping on your bed and you will be left trying to cuddle up on the 8 kitty hammocks.

I was about to send this to my mum so she could run some up on her sewing machine, but then I realised these are designed for cats who live in cages.

In a normal house, how would you hang these?

Just don't let this guy use one, dolly.

Tip: Cats don't bark and you don't have to let them outside to poo. They can be easily moved to the car for 30 minutes and litterboxes and toys can easily go under the bed.

I'm sure you could figure something out.

You could probably figure out some sort of stand for them. I have intentions of making some of these for my kitties.

You mean you don't live a cage?

I'd hang it between two scratching posts or something. Get creative.

Very good tip. But the tenants downstairs might knife us if they see kitty litter going up to our apartment. I tattled on their illicit dog that they were mistreating.

Some of the window seats are hammock-like. My kitties love their's, though their fat butts make holes in them eventually.

Carry it home in a brown paper bag or box and you're golden ;) The only problem is if you get a talkative cat like a Siamese.

edit: can't be too hard to rig one up

When you've made one, post a pic? I'd like to do something like this that doesn't take up as much space as the existing furniture they already sit on. Anything I've ever bought they've turned up their noses at, and continue to sit on our chairs, sofas, stools, computer bags, beds, etc etc

Good on you, Blue!

Also, I think I'm going to try to make some of these for our kitties at the rescue. :)
