Ehh...a house with questionable sanitation for $400k?

"Everything that I have - the furniture in the house - all has memories attached to it,"
Yeah, "memories" attached...better blacklight that couch.

hope he has fun on the trip of his though, wish I could do something like that.

I have a back up plan similar to that.

If(When) everything goes wrong in my life, I'm going to sell everything and use the money to buy a plane ticket (or a walking stick, depending on how bad it gets) and move to Tibet or somewhere, living a life with no material possessions.

I'd much prefer my mansion and Ferrari though..

How do you afford a $390,000 house as a shop assistant in a rug store? I must be doing something really wrong.

I find this depressing. Here's a man who wants to forget who he is and everything he's experienced. I hope I never feel like that.

Easy. It's AUSTRALIAN dollars. That's like $58.00 in the USA.

I saw this on the news, he was wanting to get around $500,000Aus. Quite a bargain considering the souring house prices over here.

Not quite - AU$1 = US$0.91

So roughly US$356,000
