British Filmmakers Spread Deadly Virus to Remote Peruvian Village
While a common cold or the flu might not hurt your or I, it can be deadly to people who have no immunity to it.
British Filmmakers in the Peruvian Amazon were filming these remote tribes, and locals allege the virus was brought by the visitors. picked by tundramonkey 5 months ago

While I'm not doubting the ultimate truth of these claims, the way it is reported here leaves a lot of room for doubt and uncertainty.

It is all speculation and accusation without any evidence either way.

I would have thought that step one would be to isolate and identify the pathogen and see if there is any possible link.

Virii are not a western invention - one of the tribesmen could have contracted the disease in his or her day to day life.

Without the benefits of western medical knowledge, respiratory diseases can well prove fatal.
