In January, a man rescued his colleague from a crocodile's jaws but accidentally shot the unlucky co-worker in the process.

I guess you could say he was unlucky.

Sheesh.

I can only imagine how scary it must be to be faced with the fact that you might be eaten.

I think I will be just fine if I never find out.

This is what I tell everyone about defending yourself against animals. Obviously you try the usual "make yourself big" technique, but if that fails and you find yourself in a fight or die situation; go for the eyes. It's the single most vulnerable part on any animal.

Oh, and if it's a Croc, run away in a long zig zag pattern, they can't take corners.

And didn't mythbusters disprove that?

I don't know. I don't watch much TV. I'm too busy wrestling bears and running away from blood thirsty crocodiles in zig zag patterns to take advantage of such luxuries as television.

Well, it is still a Myth, since crocs actually don't chase people/prey. Hence it really doesn't matter if you zigzag or not, the croc is not going after you (They're ambush predators afterall).

Nonono, you don't get it.. Ok, fast forward five years..

"Honey, did you take out the trash?"

"Croc."

"What?"

"I killed a Croc for you."

"Oh, I guess I can take out the trash."

"And I'm going to the poker game instead of to your mothers."

"..but.."

"Croc."
