Now that's embarassing. Link a US Senator with world-wide terrorism.

Strangely enough, as I was catching up with all the articles this morning I read the Obama one above and wondered how long it'd take before someone mentioned his name with Osama.
Apparently not that long. Conspiracy? Who knows. I'm sure it won't be the last attack this guy sees though.

I was thinking the same thing.

I doubt its a conspiracy, Osama is much on our minds and its an easy mistake to make.
Besides, why would a liberal media outlet like CNN want to smear him? ;)

"CNN called it a "bad typographical error" by its graphics department"
I call it another in the long line of "Spell Checker Strikes Again"!

When I see spelling errors like this on TV or in magaizines, I wonder what kind of retarded editor lets it slip through? Hell, I can check my spelling before posting a comment on myspace, they could make sure they get it right when the whole nation is going to see it.
On New Year's Eve, CNN showed the "Drag Queen Drop" in Florida. Drag spelt D-R-A-Q.

An interesting side note... This is not the first time a mistake over Obama's name has happened. Ted Kennedy once did it in a speech.
I'm sure it was just a mistake... but mistakes like this can cost you your job. I've seen people fired for lesser mistakes (like leaving "Insert Date Here" in a graphic, instead of the date).
