I don't really see a lot of young teens buying greeting cards for their sweetie but I could be totally wrong. I guess considering it was Hallmark, a family store, the woman has some grounds for being upset. Hallmark should sell the idea to Spencer Gifts though because its a good adult card imo.

ok .. i agree the card promotes promiscuity, but i miss how it's for teen sex. the card in question should have been displayed in a store where the clientèle is more likely to get the humor in it, and not instead fly off the PC handle.

Oh please, I have seen far worse by Hallmark and countless others. Why not put the responsibility of sexual promiscuity where it belongs?

This boils down to one woman's opinion. Tell me something, Ms. Desrosiers, why did you pick up the card in the first place? Was it for your significant other? Since you are the project coordinator for ASAP was it a way to promote your organization? If we pulled products from shelves just because someone didn't like it, stores would be full of no products at all.

Aren't there more important things to be worrying about? How is this targeting teens, and how is it in any way lude? I didn't see any specific sexual remarks or referneces to sexual acts, and if she took a few more minutes to look around the store I'm sure she would have found some. What a c**t rag.

One thing I will say is that this card wasn't even clever, it was kind of stupid if you ask me. But it wasn't offensive. This b***h needs to get off her high horse and walk around in the real world for a few days, maybe then she'll get some perspective.

There are still people out there who are easily offended. And as our society grows more and more litigious they're given more and more ground to stand on with this sort of stuff.

I had an ex who's mom was a fundamentalist Christian. Scary stupid stuff would offend her sometimes and she would be upset all day long for no good reason.

Well if she really wanted to be offended she should have read a few more cards. That was tame compared to some of the cards I've bought from Hallmark.

It is, however, ironic that the line of cards to help fund the AIDS awareness campaign features a card that promotes sex.
Other than that, I see no problem with the card. Keep your daughter away from the greeting card isle, ma'am, problem solved.
